New Thought is defined as a modern spiritual philosophy stressing the power of right thinking in a persons life, the idea that our thoughts and attitudes effect our experience and that God is within the individual.
Three principles that represent the essence of New Thought are:
- There is one infinite, all-inclusive, creative, living Intelligence in the universe which we call God.
- God Is in you and you are in God,. You can become aware of this through regularly turning your mind to God. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
- The practice of the Presence of God for practical purposes: becoming conscious of God and accepting what God offers you. This may include treatment, reasoning, intuitive, realization, affirmation, visualization.
Affirmation: There is One Presence in the Universe and this Presence Is within me now. I live move and have my being in. God and know that I am healthy, prosperous and loved In every way. Thank you God and so It Is.
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? "Change your thinking, change your life."

Be one who thinks thoughts of truth. As we continually put our attention on God, truth, and love, experiences unlike these things will pass away.
"Know the truth . . ." The life of Spirit is the true life of all because we are spiritual beings; the soul is the person; the mind and the body are merely instruments. "And the truth shall set you free . . ."
The truth gives freedom. As we choose to see the highest truth for our lives, we let go of mortal bondage and limitation.
Summary: Use your God-given power of thought to CHOOSE continually to hold the faith, to see the truth.
Affirmation: I know the truth that God is all there is. I know that I am one with this Presence. In this knowing, I accept the truth that all is well in my life. I live the abundant, happy, healthy, loving, and peaceful life right now. I live in truth, because I see only truth. Thank you God, and SO IT IS!
LOVE'S PURPOSE UNFOLDING Letting love guide your life
If you release that which is inside you, it will heal you. If you do not bring out that which is inside you, it will kill you. Gospel of St. Thomas.
Key Points:
- God is our source of Love. As our awareness of Love's presence deepens, our experience of Purpose fulfills Itself.
- Our Purpose on earth is to love. Love and be loved.
- Others are not the answer to our loneliness. God Is our love supply. God first, then all else is added.
- Love is a choice. Make a choice to come from love rather than tear.
- Service Is a natural expression of love. It is as we love that we give back to others.
Affirmation: Right here, within me, I know and accept that I Am truly the expression of God s most perfect Love. It moves through me to bring me into the greatest expressions of health, creativity, peace and abundance of every kind. Thank you God!

Many theologies suggest that divinity exists deep within everyday experiences within ordinary life. Create your own personal rituals out of everyday life experiences. The soul craves two types of nourishment - public and private.
Public: Our relationships with others are possible the most soulful aspects of our lives.
Private: Tending to the soul through meditation, contemplation, study and self-improvement.
We all grow spiritually and nourish our souls on a day-to-day basis.
Affirmation: I live and love in the moment knowing God s goodness is abounding. This moment is sacred simply sacred and for that, I give thanks. Thank you God and so it is.

AWAKENING TO THE DEVINE And Rejoicing!

We believe that the Kingdom of Heaven is within and that our purpose is to realize this kingdom on earth through removing the blocks to our awareness and experience of Love s Presence.
We can know only that which we experience. Know the Divine.
- Spirit is ever-present, right where you are.
- God s love is never ending and always available.
- Your teachers are everywhere. Awaken to life s lessons.
- Remember your spiritual life. Water the spiritual garden.
Affirmation: I am one with the Divine Presence within. This great loving Presence never leaves me and is always welcoming me home. I rejoice in knowing this truth and rest in the peace It brings. Thank you God, and so it Is.
EXPECTANCY CREATES EXPERIENCE "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matt. 7:7-8
The richly abundant spiritual life is waiting for your knock.

- Our consciousness is established in the spiritual realm.
- The mind that has not entered into real spirituality is living in materiality, which leads to bondage to the ills of this world.
- There s no bad luck; life does not happen to us, life happens through us.
- Expect the best by seeing the best. "I see the higher truth".
Affirmation: I make the decision right now to expect only the best. I see and operate out of knowing that I am a spiritual being living and loving in the highest possible manner. Thank you Cod, and so it Is.
SERVICE, THE HIGH ROAD "Use Me, Oh God."
We believe that service is the highest activity to which one can aspire. Service is the natural progression of a spiritually growing life.
- We desire to find more meaning in our work. Shift from sales to service mentality.
- We desire to serve others in our spiritual community. Opportunities for growth and developing our talents.
- We desire to embrace compassionate acts of kindness.
- We desire to express more love in all of our relationships.
The more one gives of his love, the more he has. There are no limits to which the soul can extend itself, and this boundless dominion is immeasurably increased by the very act of sharing.
Affirmation: I give of myself freely in every way, recognizing God Is using me in so many ways. I welcome the opportunity for service, knowing that It is the God within that doeth the work. And so it is.
THE ABUNDANT UNIVERSE He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; He that soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
We believe that what we give, whether it be love, talent, time or dollars, multiplies and circulates back to us. "As you sow, so shall you reap."
The universe is abundant. You and I are invited to the banquet. F-L-O-W into the connection of living a more abundant life.
Forgiveness: let go of the resentments, anger, and fears which block the flow. Levy your share of God s universe, and circulate freely God's share.
Own Objections: what blocks are you holding in your mind? Let go, let God. Watch what you re wanting;
Want God. Examine motives, is what I m wanting for the highest good?
Affirmation: I live in a universe that is abundant in every way. God is my source of everything and I participate joyfully and without fear in the process.
